This year's Easter Sunrise Service was a beautiful and meaningful gathering, with a very strong turnout. From the inspiring message to the peaceful atmosphere as the sun rose, everything came together in a truly memorable way.
We are deeply grateful to all the volunteers who gave their time and energy to help make the morning so special, and to everyone who attended and shared in the celebration. The Gospel message was clearly proclaimed—Christ is Risen! He is Risen Indeed! What a joy it was to worship together and reflect on the hope and life we have through our risen Savior.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering
​
Our church goal is $2,500, and all contributions will go directly to the Annie Armstrong Offering through the North American Mission Board. Gifts are used to train and resource missionaries for church planting and compassion ministries. These gifts also help create evangelism resources that empower churches to reach more people. Thanks to your generosity, new churches are being planted, hurts are being healed, and lives are being transformed by the gospel. Every gift makes an impact, and we are grateful for your partnership in spreading God's love and message.

New Series: What Is the Role of Corporate Worship in the Church?

Our church will soon begin a new series exploring the role of corporate worship and what the Bible teaches.
In this series, we will consider how corporate worship is the gathering of God’s people by His grace, for His glory, for their good, and before a watching world. Together we will look at biblical insights and practical guidance to help us understand worship as it is meant to be—a foretaste of God’s people worshiping together for eternity in the new creation.​

Connections
Fellowship Groups are bi-monthly small groups where 10-12 people will meet in a member's home to discuss sermon application and pray.
Prayer Gatherings are a time when the body of Ocean Park gathers at the church to devote ourselves to prayer (Acts 2:42)
Join us as we walk through a new Bible story that will help kids see the biggest story of redemption and ultimately what - or, Who! - the Bible is all about: Jesus!
All youth are invited to our next Prayer Gathering! Come hang out, dive into God’s Word, and grow in faith together.

The Adults will be studying the book of Hebrews verse by verse, gaining a deeper understanding of its rich themes of faith, perseverance, and the supremacy of Christ.

Prayer
THEIR MISSION​
​
Papua New Guinea is home to over 800 distinct languages with more than 300 that do not have a single verse of God's Word. Scott & Lynell, along with their children, are following God's call to the Ghayavi people of Papua New Guinea. After meeting the Ghayavi people, Scott and Lynell were inspired by their hard work and dedication to translating the Bible for their own people, in spite of the limited resources available to them. "We believe God will send someone to help us," they said. While working on the Bible for the Ghayavi, Scott is also training to become a translation consultant, so that he can assist even more people groups get God's Word into their heart language.

PLEASE pray with us!​

Scott and the Ghyavai Translation team are supposed to meet in Alotua, Milne Bay this Friday, April 10th (Thursday, April 9th for most of you) through April 27th. There is currently a tropical cyclone off the coast of Milne Bay causing heavy winds, waves, and rain.
​
Please pray with us that the weather will hold off until both Scott and the team arrive in Alotau. The team is hoping to travel by dinghy tomorrow. Scott will be flying on Friday, as long as weather permits.
​
We ask that you also pray with us for the consultant check of The Gospel of John that will hopefully take place. Pray that it will glorify God, be an encouragement to those helping, and that it will speak into the lives of the community as they read it.
