The Telos Bible & Theology Conference is an annual gathering devoted to deep engagement with Scripture and theological insights to the Christian faith. Each year, Telos brings together scholars, pastors, and the people of the church to explore central themes in biblical and theological reflection for the sake of faith, maturity, and faithful witness.
​
This year’s conference will take place October 9–10, beginning Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. (ET) and concluding Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. (ET).

Adding the Gospel to Our Conversations
Sharing the gospel doesn't have to be intimidating. This practical class series will help you grow in confidence as you learn how to naturally weave gospel conversations into everyday life. Together we'll explore biblical foundations for evangelism, learn simple tools for sharing the good news, and discuss how to engage people with grace, wisdom, and genuine care.

​​Lesson 1 : Sharing Your Story
​
In our first class, we learned that one of the most effective ways to share the gospel is through your personal testimony. People may question what we believe, but they cannot deny the work God has done in a changed life.
We looked at Paul's example in Acts 22–26, where he repeatedly shared how Jesus transformed his life instead of arguing or debating. Like Paul, our testimony should point people to Christ and His saving grace. A clear testimony isn't about having a dramatic story—it's about telling how God has rescued and changed you.

The following Group Meetings will be on Summer Break
and will resume on September 16th
Fellowship Groups are bi-monthly small groups where 10-12 people will meet in a member's home to discuss sermon application and pray.
Prayer Gatherings are a time when the body of Ocean Park gathers at the church to devote ourselves to prayer (Acts 2:42)
Join us as we walk through a new Bible story that will help kids see the biggest story of redemption and ultimately what - or, Who! - the Bible is all about: Jesus!
All youth are invited to our next Prayer Gathering! Come hang out, dive into God’s Word, and grow in faith together.

The Adults will be studying the book of Hebrews verse by verse, gaining a deeper understanding of its rich themes of faith, perseverance, and the supremacy of Christ.
Men’s Group Invitation – Ages 13+
You’re invited to join us as we read and discuss Man Up! by Pastor Jeffrey Hemmer — a bold call to embrace biblical manhood in today’s world.
Women & Young Ladies 13 and up join us for Women’s Bible Study as we explore the Book of James together.

We exist to create ministries that will equip Haitian children and adults to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ , and through Him , change the country of Haiti.

PRAYER POINTS​

Open hearts to the gospel — that many would trust Christ and grow in their faith.
Break chains — bringing freedom from fear, spiritual darkness, and hopelessness.
Protection from gangs — for the children, and ministry workers serving in dangerous conditions.
Peace and healing for the children — that they would know God's love, hope, and joy.
Strength for the workers — that God would encourage, protect, and sustain them as they serve.
Provision for the ministry — that God would meet every need and give wisdom to its leaders.
Success for the 2026 Cabaret Combo Tournament (Sept. 18) — that the golf and pickleball fundraiser would have a great turnout, generous support, and provide the resources needed to continue the ministry.
God's glory in Cabaret — that His kingdom would advance and lives would be transformed through the gospel.
