HELP on the HOME FRONT

Support Our Military Families Through the USO

The USO serves military members and their families through care packages, deployment kits, and family resilience programs that provide encouragement and practical support on the homefront.
As a church family, we have the opportunity to help by donating essential items for local USO care kits.
Donations may include:
travel-sized toiletries such as deodorant, toothbrushes, wipes, female hygiene products, and non-perishable snacks.

Please bring donations to the church by May 31st. Thank you for helping us encourage and support those who serve our country and their families.

Middle and High School students are invited to kick off the summer with a fun night of bowling and fellowship!

Summer Break

As summer begins, our church will be taking a break from regular group gatherings. Even in the busyness of vacations and changing schedules, let’s continue to encourage one another, stay connected, and remain faithful in spending time in God’s Word.

Evangelism
How the Whole Church Speaks of Jesus
Evangelism is more than a program. In Evangelism, author J. Mack Stiles casts a biblical picture where evangelism is simply part of the culture. Leaders share their faith consistently and openly. Members follow, encouraging one another to make evangelism an ongoing way of life. No program here.

Fellowship Groups are bi-monthly small groups where 10-12 people will meet in a member's home to discuss sermon application and pray.

Prayer Gatherings are a time when the body of Ocean Park gathers at the church to devote ourselves to prayer (Acts 2:42)

Join us as we walk through a new Bible story that will help kids see the biggest story of redemption and ultimately what - or, Who! - the Bible is all about: Jesus!

All youth are invited to our next Prayer Gathering! Come hang out, dive into God’s Word, and grow in faith together.

The Adults will be studying the book of Hebrews verse by verse, gaining a deeper understanding of its rich themes of faith, perseverance, and the supremacy of Christ.

Men’s Group Invitation – Ages 13+
You’re invited to join us as we read and discuss Man Up! by Pastor Jeffrey Hemmer — a bold call to embrace biblical manhood in today’s world.

Women & Young Ladies 13 and up join us for Women’s Bible Study as we explore the Book of James together.
Let’s grow in faith, wisdom, and community!

ABOUT
Simon Wunderli serves as a pilot and flight instructor with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) International, using aviation to reach some of the most remote and difficult places on earth—areas others can’t or won’t go. Alongside him, his wife Pam faithfully supports the ministry by administering and coordinating their work behind the scenes.
From the jungles of Africa to the rivers of Borneo, MAF transports Bible translators, medical teams, aid workers, local evangelists, and even the sick and injured, helping bring both physical care and the hope of the gospel.
In many isolated regions, people have little to no access to healthcare, education, supplies, or outside connection. For countless communities, MAF airplanes are the only link to life-giving resources and the love of Christ. Through this ministry, and in partnership with churches and organizations around the world, you can help bring help, hope, and healing to those living in the hardest-to-reach places.

PRAYER POINTS

Simon has started his role in PNG albeit on a fly in fly out basis. I hope to join him in the New Year. Pray for us as we adjust to being apart for a time.
Continue to pray for Zara's health as we navigate this season. Pray for complete healing and restoration.
I am thankful for the People Care role I have in MAFI and the chance to work with an amazing group of people.
Pray for Joshua as he considers what the next steps are after finishing University. Pray for guidance and direction in this next season.
