Ocean Park Haiti Mission Trip

October 4 - 11
Please see Jerry Benton for mor information and you can visit www.jbahaiti.org

HAITI, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, is in a constant state of economic and political upheaval. The need is overwhelming and although millions of dollars have been poured into the country, few positive and lasting changes have occurred. Many ministries have attempted and failed to establish a long-term ministry presence in Haiti. In such an apparently hopeless situation, the Jacksonville Baptist Association wants to be wise in how we minister in Haiti.
We are deeply committed to:

  • Developing an ongoing, permanent presence for Christian ministry.
  • Equipping and empowering local Haitian leaders.
  • Educating and discipling Haitian children and adults.
  • Ensuring the safety of all missionaries and mission teams.
  • Handling all finances with integrity and honesty.
